Internet for temporary sites, from day one to hand-back

Warehouses, project offices, construction sheds, production offices and display suites usually need a working network before anyone has arranged one. We get the connection in, cover the space and keep it running for the length of the job.

Quick answer

EventWiFi sets up temporary internet and WiFi for sites that need a network for weeks or months: film and production offices, studios, warehouses, temporary and project offices, construction site offices, display suites, marquees, heritage venues and businesses waiting out an outage. We arrange the connection, design coverage for the space, add cameras on the same network if needed, and switch over or pack down at the end.

Temporary sites have a different problem from one-day events: the network has to work every day for weeks or months, often in buildings that were never meant to be offices. Coverage across steel and levels, upload for files and video calls, and a clean switch-over to the permanent service matter more than a fast bump-in.

Our 5,000 m² warehouse case study shows what that looks like from first email to working WiFi in four days.

Frequently asked questions

How long can a temporary site network stay in place?

As long as the job needs it, from a few days to several months. Longer hires usually justify a fixed internet service with a 4G/5G router as backup, and the support level for the hire is agreed in your plan.

Can you set up internet where there is no line?

Usually. We check what the address can get and coordinate a new service with the provider. Activation can take from a couple of business days to several weeks depending on the address, so a 4G/5G router can bridge the gap where coverage allows.
